The world arose, this body new
Thinking came, but never knew
I’d see myself, inside of you
Not in your eyes, but looking through
I cannot feel you, you are feeling
I cannot see you, you are vision
I cannot move, by you this body is moved
I cannot speak, it is your voice
I cannot know you, you are knowing
I am no one.
I am nothing.
All is you
Though I’m tired, my eyes are heavy.
My legs are weak, but my heart is ready.
I will ride the wave until the crash.
Let the fire burn, reborn of ash.
Until the earth reclaims, for oak and grass.
A steady gaze, ecstatic dance.
Alone I weep, in beauty, bask.
As tears fall, she removes her mask.
For a moments glimpse, an eternal glance.
Though I’ll never grasp; oh how blessed, the chance.
Free at last…
Free at last…
I once loved the play of words
Such beauty in expression
Until I found in stillness, bliss
To that which is, no words can kiss
That which is, is also not
Yet I searched, and so I missed
That by which, has always been
Finally, my searching stopped
Falling, falling, falling away
Falling, falling, falling awake
Some say the world will end in fire
If so I’ll dance amongst the flames
I’ll lay atop the coals, accustomed to the pain
In eager angst, I’ll sacrifice my name
But if it ends in ice, then that too is the same
When all is left unmoving, may the greatest be attained
You have come, you have entered a well I once thought full
Through your eyes a fount emerged
So great the depth once barren lands
So full and rich, it gushes forth!
You are the seed who never knew its might! With this love-
I will keep your land, enrich your soil
Take your hand, caress your soul
I am the sun who never knew its light
You are the never ending, Tree of Life!
Inhale; recedes a wave once crashed
So too the mind; once thought, it’s past
To darkest depth, how silent, still
Exhale; oh mind, the ocean, vast
The thought, the wave, emerged the crash
Emerged from nothing –
Nothing was, nothing crashed
Knowing knew, no-thing laughed
